Kasie Lynne - Founder

Kasie is a hardworking 23 year old who dedicated her life to helping children affected by childhood cancer. After 10 years of dealing with cancer, she has now been cancer free for 7 years.

 

“I still find it hard to adjust to this “new” normal. I probably look at life in a completely different perspective than one. But this new normal has taught me so much, most importantly, not to ever judge someone based on what they have been through. Cancer does not label me as a person and it definitely does not limit me from chasing my dreams. Anyone that has faced cancer should not feel different from everyone else. They should not feel limited, and they should never feel alone.”

Savannah Bruner - Public Relations Director

Savannah grew up on the emerald waters of Destin, Florida. She graduated from the University of West Florida where she received her B.A. in Communication Arts with a specialization in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing. Savannah currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada where she is a Public Relations Specialist at Preferred Public Relations.

 

Savannah because very passionate about giving back when she first learned about KHKidz a few years ago! Ever since she has been helping us every step of the way and is currently a KHKidz Board Member. In her spare time, Bruner can be found out by the pool/beach or in front of the television cheering on the LSU tiger football team.

Shandenia Gay - Houston Event Chair

Shandenia Gay is a veteran event planner, caterer and avid philanthropist. She launched Sophisticated Events nearly 20 years ago and has continued to enhance her patrons happenings. Specializing in custom event design with a passion for delivering phenomenal customer service. Born in Miami, Florida and raised in Shreveport her Louisiana roots lend to her cooking flair and down home flavor. She moved to Houston as a young adult and soon became a fixture in its social fabric. Her love for family and the community abounds and is displayed by her consistent involvement.

Dinetta - Houston Event Chair

Dinetta is a Houston, Texas native who consistently enjoys helping others. By trade Dinetta is an educator and mental health professional, however her true passion is creating beautiful moments in time that everyone can fondly reflect on. For years Dinetta has combined her creativity and passion for design & décor to create memorable events for family, friends and employers. David Goldman - Albuquerque Event Chair

David is a professional Development Representative that has been working with not for profits organizations since 2008 with a focus in event planning, fundraising and donor relations.  He has volunteered with different groups over the years, but it most committed to his local church as he has helped plan and carry out events and conferences there since 2003.  He loves design, photography/videography and creative planning but is most passionate about helping others.   He is married to Jessica Goldman and currently resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
 

Emily McMonagle - New York City Event Chair

I reached out to Kasie on Instagram when I saw their partnership announcement with Delete Blood Cancer. I am a bone marrow/ stem cell donor and also a professional in the fashion industry. The idea of a fashion show benefiting children with cancer is a collision of passions for me. I am excited to team up with the KHKidz NYC team!

Heather Jacobs - San Antonio Event Chair

Heather is currently working full time in Marketing at an Engineering Company. She has a background in hospitality, event planning & customer service. She also helps direct a church nursery on Sundays. "I love working with kids and I love planning events! So volunteering to help plan this event was such an easy decision. I look forward to seeing the smiling faces from the kids while strutting their stuff down the runway!

Donna Perez - Dallas Event Chair

Definitely not a morning person (especially without coffee), Donna is very creative and a good multi-tasker (20+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant and Event Planner).  She is a people person who is a devout follower of Jesus Christ.  She is a great mother of four and a loving wife with a silly sense of humor.  Though she was coerced into having indoor dogs (2 Great Danes!), she loves them unconditionally.  If there is ever anything you need done, Donna is your go-to girl.
